RezT Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6 October 2026

This policy explains what information the RezT app for iPhone and Apple Watch (including its widgets, Live Activities and the RezT Plus subscription) uses, where it goes, how long it is kept and the choices you have. "RezT", "we" and "us" mean Priyank Verma, trading as Vikasa Studio, K-0405, Tranquil at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia, Varthur, Bengaluru 560087, Karnataka, India.

1. What RezT is

RezT reads sleep, heart and activity data from Apple Health and turns it into wellness readings such as the Sleep Regularity Index, recovery, readiness, daily strain and training load. Coach, an optional feature, explains your readings in conversation using a cloud AI service.

Wellness, not medical. RezT is a wellness app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Talk to a qualified clinician about any health concern.

2. Summary

• Your scores and readings are calculated on your iPhone and Apple Watch from Apple Health data. You can use them without an account.
• Without an account, the app only downloads app configuration from our server; that request carries no account, health or device identifiers (our hosting provider still sees your IP address). Your information is sent to our server only after you sign in with Apple to use Coach, RezT Plus or natural voice.
• Coach is off until you turn it on. When you use it, your messages go to our server and to OpenAI, the AI provider that writes Coach's replies. If you also allow health summaries, Coach receives derived daily summaries from up to your last 90 days, never raw Apple Health samples, GPS routes, photos or calendar details.
• Natural voice is optional and separately consented. When you allow it, the app sends our server last night's sleep total and today's recommendation; our server writes a short briefing from them and sends the text of that briefing, or of a spoken reply, to ElevenLabs to create speech.
• Live Audio Coach, when available with RezT Plus, needs additional permission for live microphone transcription and speech. Microphone audio streams to ElevenLabs; finalized transcripts and Coach reply text join your chat. RezT does not save raw microphone audio. Pause, End and leaving the app close the microphone (section 6).
• We do not sell your information, show ads, track you across other companies' apps or websites, or include third-party analytics or advertising software in the app. Apple Health data is not sent to advertising platforms, data brokers or analytics providers, and it is not used to decide when the app suggests RezT Plus (section 7).
• You can export your Coach data, turn sharing off, and delete your account in the app.

3. Processed on your devices

The following is processed and stored on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Except the derived summaries you choose to share with Coach (section 5), the sleep total and daily recommendation used for natural voice, and live microphone audio and transcripts you separately allow (section 6), RezT does not send this to our servers or providers.

RezT does not sync your data through iCloud or CloudKit. It keeps its database (which holds a copy of the Apple Health samples RezT has read, your readings, check-ins and logs), its other cached copies of Apple Health samples, the Coach cache (your conversations and health summary), the reading files shared with widgets and Apple Watch, workout routes, voice audio and the reports library out of iCloud and computer backups. If you restore a backup onto another device, RezT reads Apple Health again and your Coach data returns when you sign in; check-ins and logs that existed only on the old device are not restored. A few values kept in iOS app preferences can still be included in a device backup: your profile details (age, height, weight and gender), the latest sleep-debt estimate and the summary your widgets show. Apple Health data itself stays in Apple Health under Apple's controls.

Data that exists only on your device is deleted when you delete the app. Deleting RezT does not delete data RezT saved to Apple Health; manage that in the Health app.

4. Your account (Sign in with Apple)

Coach, RezT Plus and natural voice need an account. You create it with Sign in with Apple. RezT does not request your name or email address.

When you sign in we receive and store:

• a one-way hash of the stable identifier Apple gives RezT for your Apple ID, and a random account ID and purchase-link token that RezT creates;
• an Apple refresh token, encrypted, so that we can revoke Sign in with Apple when you delete your account;
• session records for your signed-in devices (sessions last up to 30 days before you must sign in again);
• a random device identifier created by the app, used to tell which of your devices supplies health summaries.

5. Coach: what is sent to the cloud, when and why

Coach is off by default. Until you first send something to Coach, a line above the message box says that Coach's replies are written by RezT's AI partner using your health summary, with a link to this policy. Sending your message is your agreement; nothing is sent before you send. If you set the message to general mode first, the line leaves out the health summary and none is shared. In Audio Coach the same statement sits beside the live-microphone statement, and tapping Allow is your agreement to both. For the free first explanation of your readings, the line sits above "Explain my readings", and tapping it is your agreement, because that explanation is written from your summary. RezT is for people aged 18 or older. If you agreed to Coach before RezT changed its AI provider, Coach asks you again in the same way before anything more is sent, and health summaries stay off if you had them off. The AI partner is OpenAI (section 9); Coach settings and this policy name it and explain what it receives. You can turn health summaries or Coach off afterwards (see "Turning it off" below).

What is sent when you use Coach

• Your messages (typed or dictated text), the conversation so far, and any plans or notes you have saved for Coach.
• If you allow health summaries: derived daily values from up to your last 90 days, built on your iPhone. These include sleep duration, sleep start and end times, minutes in each sleep stage, sleep regularity, recovery, sleep score, energy and stress estimates, your current readiness phase, your chronotype and estimated body-clock phase, cardio fitness estimates (including a VO₂ max–based estimate expressed in years), resting heart rate, heart rate variability and changes against your own baseline, VO₂ max, steps, active energy and exercise minutes; patterns RezT found between your habits and readings; workout summaries (date, activity type, minutes and whether it finished); your check-ins and caffeine, alcohol and meal logs with their times; RezT sessions; RezT's findings and patterns; and your age, sex, height, weight and time zone.
• When you enable personal Coach, the activation shows the choices you are agreeing to: a health summary from this iPhone and, with RezT Plus, remembering goals and agreed actions across chats. You can customize those choices before continuing or continue without personalization. Previous opt-outs are not turned back on by an app update.
• If you enable goal memory (RezT Plus), Coach saves goals, constraints, agreed actions and outcomes from your conversations and uses them in later replies.

Coach does not receive raw Apple Health samples, GPS routes, photos, report files or calendar details. Typed messages and text dictation send text to Coach. Live Audio Coach separately streams microphone audio to ElevenLabs and sends finalized transcripts to Coach (section 6); raw microphone audio is not sent to OpenAI or stored by RezT.

When it is sent. Only when you send a message, ask for an explanation, open a Coach-written briefing or explanation, during a live conversation you separately allowed, or when the app refreshes your health summary while health sharing is on.

Where it goes. To RezT's server, hosted on Cloudflare, which checks your account, subscription and consent and then sends the request to OpenAI's API to write the reply. RezT turns off OpenAI's optional storage of completed replies and does not send your name, email address, Apple identifier or device identifier with the request. Replies are checked against your summary before they are shown.

What we store. Your conversations, Coach's replies, plans and which plan steps you completed, plan reminder settings, saved notes and memories, your Coach settings (language, time zone, quiet hours, consent choices), and your latest health summary (trimmed to the last 90 days), all linked to your account. When you confirm an action Coach suggests, such as saving a check-in, we also store the action, its value (for a check-in, a score from 1 to 5), the day, the device identifier that confirmed it and whether it was applied. You can see and export your Coach data in the app.

Why. To provide Coach at your request. We do not use your Coach data to train our own models, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.

Turning it off. In Coach settings → Privacy & data you can turn off "Use this iPhone's health summary", which deletes the stored health summary, or turn off cloud conversations. Either stops new requests that depend on it, including requests already in progress. Turning off health context does not change past messages: conversations in which you or Coach mentioned health values stay until you delete those conversations or your account.

6. Natural voice and live Audio Coach (ElevenLabs)

Natural voice reads a short daily briefing or a Coach reply aloud in a synthetic voice. It is part of RezT Plus, is optional, needs your separate permission and may not be available to every account. Live Audio Coach has an additional microphone purpose and separate consent, described below.

The free example. Without RezT Plus you can play one example of the voice. It is a generic, AI-generated recording that ships inside the app and contains none of your data. Playing it happens entirely on your iPhone: it needs no account or permission and sends nothing to us or to ElevenLabs.

When you allow natural voice:

• Briefings. The app sends our server a few facts from your committed readings: last night's total sleep (if recorded), today's recommendation (recover, easy or train), whether the reading is usable, and the dates and times it covers. This happens whenever you request natural-voice audio, whether or not you share health summaries with Coach. Our server writes a short script (up to about 220 characters) from those facts and sends that text to ElevenLabs to create audio.
• Spoken follow-up answers (RezT Plus). Your question goes to Coach and OpenAI as described in section 5, so it also needs Coach's cloud AI permission. The resulting answer text (up to about 440 characters) is sent to ElevenLabs.
• What we store. The facts the app sent, the script and the generated audio, in private cloud storage linked to your account. Paid audio is deleted after 30 days. A free personal sample created by an earlier version of the app is kept while your account exists; new free samples are no longer created. A copy is cached on your iPhone with file protection, excluded from backups and cleared when you sign out, withdraw or delete your account.
• Device check. To stop abuse, voice requests use Apple's App Attest service. We store the attestation key identifier and counters Apple returns, and limit how often a key or account can generate audio. We do not fingerprint your device.
• Withdrawal of saved natural voice. "Turn voice off and delete personal audio" deletes personal voice text and audio from RezT and asks ElevenLabs to delete the saved-voice history items we know about. Saved speech content, including content whose delivery could not be confirmed, remains subject to ElevenLabs' applicable retention policy. The live-conversation configuration requirements below do not describe saved-speech retention.

Live Audio Coach (when available)

• Permission and purpose. Live conversations require your Coach cloud permission, separate consent for live microphone transcription and speech, and iOS microphone permission. Allowing saved natural voice or text dictation does not grant live microphone consent.
• What leaves your device. While the live conversation is connected, microphone audio streams to ElevenLabs for transcription and speech. Finalized user text reaches RezT's server and OpenAI through Coach's existing reply path, using only the Coach context you choose to share. The validated reply text returns to ElevenLabs for speech. RezT does not save raw microphone audio or forward it to OpenAI.
• What is saved. Finalized transcripts and Coach reply text become ordinary Coach chat content, linked to your account and available through the same export and conversation/account deletion controls. An answer can be saved in chat even if you interrupt its spoken playback; a stored answer is not a record that you heard it. RezT keeps consent, session and allowance records to authorize the conversation and prevent abuse.
• Required provider settings. Before each live admission, RezT must verify ElevenLabs' actual live configuration: voice recording off (record_voice=false), audio deletion enabled (delete_audio=true), transcript and personal-information deletion enabled (delete_transcript_and_pii=true), and a retention setting from zero to no more than 30 days. Live conversations cannot start if these settings cannot be verified. These are activation requirements; this draft does not establish that a deployed provider meets them or that deletion has occurred.
• Stopping and withdrawing. Pause, End, backgrounding the app, interruption or losing the audio route closes the local microphone and stops local playback. Returning to the app does not automatically reopen the microphone. In Coach privacy you can withdraw live microphone consent separately; withdrawal stops the live session and blocks another admission until you consent again. Withdrawal does not erase past chat transcripts: delete the conversation or your account to remove them.
• Connected allowance. RezT Plus includes 20 connected minutes per UTC month. Connected listening, thinking, speaking and silence count; connection setup does not. Saved replay does not use these minutes. A sentence already scheduled at the limit may finish within one bounded grace period of up to 10 seconds per month; this never authorizes a new turn. The app closes an idle conversation and requires an explicit tap to resume. Minimal consumed-time and abuse records survive withdrawal or account deletion so recreating an account does not restore its allowance.

We keep minimal allowance, spending and abuse records after withdrawal or deletion, so that deleting or recreating an account does not restore a used allowance (or the retired free sample).

7. Subscriptions and purchases

RezT Plus is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; we never receive your card or bank details. To confirm access, our server receives and verifies Apple's signed transaction information (product, transaction ID, purchase and expiry dates, and whether it is a production or test purchase) and links it to your account through a random purchase-link token. Apple may send our server signed subscription status notifications, which we currently use only to update your access (see "Suggestion settings stored on our server" below).

Deleting your RezT account does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings.

In-app RezT Plus offers and suggestions. The app shows RezT Plus offers inside the app at a few moments based on how you use the app, never on your Apple Health data. Two are one-time offers timed on the days you use RezT: one from your first day and one after you have used it on 7 different days. Each shows at most once, the app shows at most one automatic offer a day, and the same rules apply to everyone. The app counts these days on your device; the count is not sent to our server.

Suggestion experiments. We test different versions of in-app RezT Plus suggestions to learn which are useful, including a comparison group (currently about 1 in 10 accounts) that does not get the suggestion engine's version. If you are signed in, the app asks our server which version to show. The server calculates your group from your purchase-link token each time and does not store it. No record of what you view or tap is sent for this.

Suggestion settings stored on our server. If you are signed in, we store, under a one-way hash of your purchase-link token: whether RezT Plus suggestions are on, when you first turned them off, whether offer notifications are on, and a measurement setting with its consent version. The measurement setting is off by default and is offered only to adults once this policy is published. If you turn it on, your purchase records (which plan, when and at what price) may be counted, only in totals by group, to compare suggestion versions. It never uses your health readings, Coach chats or body details. These settings are deleted when you delete your account.

Our server can also be set to store the details of Apple's subscription notifications (notification type, product, offer, price, currency, storefront and environment) for these comparisons. This storage is currently switched off; if we switch it on, subscription notifications would no longer be used only to update your access, and we will update this policy first.

8. Notifications

RezT's reminders and check-ins are local notifications scheduled on your device. If you turn on notifications and use Coach, the app may also register your device's Apple push token with your account so that Coach notifications can be delivered later; Coach server-sent notifications are currently switched off. You can turn notifications off in the app or in iOS Settings.

9. Service providers

We use these providers to run RezT. Each receives only what is needed for its role.

AI processors at a glance. RezT's in-app wording says "our AI partner" and "a voice partner"; these are the companies, by what they process and how to stop it:

Text dictation in the message box is handled by Apple's speech recognition on your iPhone and is not sent to these processors.

About OpenAI: as checked on 3 October 2026, OpenAI's API data-handling page (last updated 8 January 2026) says OpenAI does not train its models on API data unless the customer opts in, and may keep API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days to provide the service and identify abuse. OpenAI's API documentation says requests are routed across its global infrastructure unless a customer configures data residency; RezT has not configured a region. RezT turns off OpenAI's optional storage of completed responses and does not send OpenAI your name, email address, Apple identifier or device identifier. RezT has not requested OpenAI's Zero Data Retention or a data-residency region.

About ElevenLabs: as checked on 27 September 2026, ElevenLabs' privacy policy (last updated 20 May 2026) says it has hosting or server locations in the United States, the Netherlands and Singapore, and that, regardless of your location, all personal data is transferred to the United States for storage. See its policy for its retention. Live-conversation admissions additionally require the verified configuration described in section 6; saved speech has a separate retention path.

10. Apple Health commitments

• Apple Health data is used to provide RezT's wellness features to you.
• It is never sold, and never shared with advertising platforms, data brokers or analytics providers. It is not used for advertising.
• It is not used for marketing: in-app RezT Plus offers are timed on the days you use the app, not on your Health data or readings (section 7).
• It is shared with a third party only when you choose to use Coach with health summaries (OpenAI, section 5) or natural voice (ElevenLabs, section 6). What those providers receive is derived summary text and numbers, not raw Apple Health samples.
• RezT does not sync Apple Health data through iCloud or CloudKit, and it keeps its copies of Health samples and its Health-derived files out of device backups. Section 3 names the few app preferences that a backup can still include.
• RezT writes to Apple Health only the workouts, routes and energy of workouts you record in RezT.

11. Retention and deletion

How to delete your account. In the Coach tab open Coach settings, then choose Your account › Delete account and data. This deletes your Coach conversations, plans, memories, health summary, voice text and audio, report data and your RezT Plus suggestion settings, signs you out, clears Coach data and reports from the device, and revokes Sign in with Apple for RezT. You can also ask us at privacy@vikasa.studio.

What remains after deletion. To stop allowances from being claimed again and to restore purchases to the same identity, we keep: the one-way hash of your Apple identifier and its purchase-link token; counts of free Coach previews used and the time your free explanation was used; monthly AI usage counts (token totals and one-way hashes of requests, with no content); natural-voice eligibility, spending and abuse-protection records, including App Attest key records; and minimal live-voice allowance/session records, including consumed connected time. These records have no automatic deletion, except paid natural-voice spending records, which are removed after about 180 days. We also keep aggregate counts that identify no one. Deleted Coach content cannot be restored.

Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription or delete Apple Health data. Content already sent to OpenAI or ElevenLabs is subject to their retention policies (section 9); for saved speech, we ask ElevenLabs to delete the voice history items we know about. Live processing requires the recording, deletion and maximum retention configuration in section 6; account deletion is not a claim of immediate provider-side deletion.

12. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can in the app:

• See and take a copy of your Coach data: Coach settings › Export Coach data.
• Correct or remove saved notes and memories, and delete individual conversations.
• Withdraw consent at any time: turn off health sharing, cloud conversations, memory, natural voice or live microphone consent in Coach privacy, calendar, notifications, or Apple Health access (in iOS Settings or the Health app). Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened.
• Delete your account (section 11).

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask us for access to, correction of, deletion of or a portable copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to complain to your data protection authority. In the EU and UK, we rely on your explicit consent for health data and Coach, on providing the service you asked for (your account and subscription), and on our legitimate interest in keeping RezT secure and stopping abuse.

California and other US states. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we use sensitive personal information (health data) only to provide the features you request. You may ask to know, delete or correct your information, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). You may ask for a summary of your personal data and how it is processed, for correction, completion, updating or erasure, and you may withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. You may nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to. Our grievance officer is Priyank Verma, privacy@vikasa.studio. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To make a request, email privacy@vikasa.studio. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder, for example by asking you to send it while signed in or to confirm details only the account holder would know. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

13. Children

RezT is not intended for anyone under 18. The App Store lists RezT for ages 18 and over, and Coach and natural voice are for people aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact privacy@vikasa.studio and we will delete it.

14. International transfers

RezT's server runs on Cloudflare's global network, so your data may be processed in countries other than yours; storage location is not tied to one country. If you use Coach, your Coach data is processed by OpenAI, a US company whose API requests are routed across its global infrastructure, which includes the United States (section 9). If you use natural voice or live Audio Coach, text and, for separately allowed live conversations, microphone audio are processed by ElevenLabs, which describes hosting in the United States, the Netherlands and Singapore and says that all personal data is transferred to the United States for storage (section 9). These countries may have different data protection laws from yours. Where the law requires a safeguard for these transfers, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which are built into the data processing terms of OpenAI, ElevenLabs and Cloudflare.

15. Security

• Data between the app and our server travels over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• On your device, RezT's database, Coach cache and voice audio use iOS data protection, and sign-in tokens are kept in the iOS Keychain.
• On our server, access requires a signed-in session; your Apple identifier is stored only as a one-way hash, the Apple refresh token is encrypted, voice audio is in private storage with no public access, and provider keys are held only on the server.
• Voice requests are checked with Apple's App Attest.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

16. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when RezT's data practices change, change the effective date above, and tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Where a change needs your consent, such as sending new kinds of data to a provider, we will ask for it beforehand.
